NE Saskatchewan | Why am I having problems with our 8010's finding satellites? Had them on for almost an hour today and it still couldn't find them. They are 2007 model year and have the newest vesions of software loaded in the afs pro 600 monitor.
We also have a 2008 8010, and it finds satellites in a matter of minutes.
Only difference I can tell is the software version on the reciever - new one is version 3.8, older ones are 3.0.
If this is the case, is there a way I can load the new versions into the receivers myself? is there a special cable to do so?
If it is simply a matter of waiting an hour for the combine to find the satellites, then what is the use of having it in the first place?
