Beware:
I remember this from when I was real young .... Dad hooked up "hoopy" (old F100 Ranger,2wd, 4spd manual, no power-steering, home-made flatbed and a tow bar) behind another pickup for Mom to pull about 10 miles to one of our other farms. - Got it all hooked up ... Dad left the house in the tractor, mom left 10 minutes later ... She made it to the field bout the same time as Dad and was complaining about how hard Hoopy pulled the whole way! Dad thought "oh sh*t" ... looked and realized it was still in gear.

The wheels didn't lock up but the motor and tranny spun the whole way! They said it started back up, smoked for a bit and is still running today - got lucky!
