north central Oklahoma | I learned the hard way not to pull my truck behind a mounted implement. Ask me how I know. I bought mine for $5 at a farm auction, older than Methusula, but still had the feature of telescope and swing, just get within a foot or so of receiver, pin and pull forward; it straightens out and locks. That one is toast now. You would have to buy pretty basic before those options are not part of the towbar. RedDragon makes a pretty decent bar, that's what I have now.
Note: Don't tow a pickup you have any feelings for. No matter how tight you think the seals on windows/doors or anything else on truck, you are gonna fill it with dust, count on it. I just have one pickup I tow and when it dies, it's gonna be tough to decide which one gets S^*t detail again. | |
