I can give you the starter settings on our 1254.
The 500 is so much easier than the EZ+ that it isn't even funny.
I did the cals on ours. Did have the salesman come out and work on the Gator, but I re-did it after running it in a field w/ terraces. Works decent now. Could be better, but at 14 mph I'm happy w/ its performance.
