Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Yes, I believe Don is correct. Both boxes are telling you where you are correctly but using different formats for the fractional part.
I remember when I first had an Ag Leader YM2000 connected to their GPS 2000 that this happened.
I think on that combination one box used decimal degrees while the other used degrees, minutes and decimal minutes.
So if one box reported 43.5 degrees, the other box reported 43 degrees 30.000 minutes which is the same location expressed two different ways.
This really shouldn't cause any problems as long as you are aware of it. |
