Gen II Receivers have a range of 6 miles. For some reason this spring they were not the best option for base stations, but would work as rovers. It is suggested by Deere to have ITC receivers as base stations. You should consider trading in the Gen II for an ITC. See if your dealer would be interested in that deal. Even if it was $1000 bucks or so you would still be ahead, because you would just move the radio.
