Anybody else had this problem?

I had the old reciever hooked to our base as we want our rovers to use ITC's for extended range. The reciever would lock on to satellites but would bounce between "initializing" and "ok" but never pick up the radio's SN. Finally this evening I took down the GenII reciever and put up one of the ITC's and it worked the way it should.

Would a complete reprogramming of the reciever help? We've got enough headaches right now I'd like to get this fixed. Salesman is coming in the morning. Wondering what to tell him to bring.
