We had this discussion a couple of weeks ago on here. I'll give you my opinion again. We started using enviro-safe about 8 or 9 years ago and have had real good luck. It's a very inexpensive option also. I know that 134 is the standard of the industry but if you do your own work who cares. We tried converting systems to 134 in the begining but noticed higher pressures. This enviro-safe can be bought for less than $4 a can and 3 cans will charge most systems. It has molecules larger than r12 and can be run with any type of oil in the system. It runs at less pressure also. We do vacuum out the system first and then just add it. Our newer machinery that has 134 in it we have just left it alone but if it ever gives any trouble I would change it in a heartbeat. This enviro-safe freon has really helped out my a/c budget. Especially on the older equipment.
