Subject: best way to straighten kinked 8" irrigation pipe?

I found a thread with some good ways to take dents out of auger and irrigation pipe, but has anybody had any success straightening a badly kinked one?  This is 8" aluminum that's used for the suction line. I'm hoping that a scissors jack with pipe welded to it top and bottom will take most of the kinks out, but I'm thinking that the aluminum will tear at the stress points if we try to bend it back to straight.  Fingers crossed that it straightens out as the kinks get pressed out from the inside.
