Subject: Dog tag

Blvd d'Espair Bowhill, Sth Aust

That is a steel tag i made myself with  his name and my phone number stamped on it.  It isn't a  problem these days as he doesnt move far from the house, but in 2000 we spent a month in USA, and  Wrex stayed  with a friend  who lives about 15 miles away.  If memory serves correctly  Wrex  made it home  5 times in that period, including  somehow removing a chain from a post with a  heavy iron gear  over the post  holding the chain down ( this a desperate attempt at securing him after the 4th trip)  My friend was worried sick until he found Wrex sitting on our porch patiently awaiting our return..... each time.

He just likes to be home....  : )    But I figured there was a need potentially for him to be instantly identifiable to anyone who didn't know him.

He has always been something of an escape artist Houdini type dog.  But there isnt a mean bone in his body. Beautifully natured and affectionate.

Our license tags are plastic that clip onto the collar quite securely.
