If it's a 4 wd, jack up the front end and check it out good. You can spend a ton of money there. If it's an auto, trans would also be an area of concern. Don't know about the engine, I took a 5.8 in a 93 to 200k but it was getting really tired at that point and a money pit. On a truck with those miles I would probably budget $200 month for repairs and maintenance.
