I am looking at a 2000 F250 for my son, the truck is in excellent shape but it has 176,000 highway miles on it. It has the 5.4L gas. My question is how many miles can one get out of this engine? For the money he wants for this truck I could put a new engine in it and still come out ahead. It does not use any oil or have any leaks.
