| Main thing in my opinion Bob is a double throw switch to isolate you power from the line coming in. I did wire mine when we built a couple of years ago. Makes it nice to have a disconnect from the power company for anything you may want to do later. Double throw box should be sized for the amps you may be pulling. Off the top of my head I can't say what mine is. I know I put in one that can run the whole place. I can get numbers if it would help. I believe the diconnect is by RONK. The generator had the plug in wiring that wires up to the double throw switch. I built a whole panel of the meter base, double throw switch and main disconnects to the house, shop, barn and grain bins. I'm glad I took the time to do it this way while re wiring the barnyard and adding the house. I may have a picture Probably not what you were looking for exactly. Joe
Oh, I bought all of the stuff at the local electrical shop (Wabash Electric)
