Wait a doggone  minute larry. All I did to "start this" was ask how one goes about ending up with a perfectly mobile piece of equipment sitting in a field long enough to go under water without being able to do anything about it.  You are putting all sorts of words into my mouth which I had absolutely nothing to do with saying.  I never said anything about ulterior motives.  I never said I knew how to do it better.   I just asked a simple question, one which would seem to obviously have a good answer, because I don't see how anyone would leave it there without some extenuating circumstances. I've even gone on to list various answers to the question which could make good sense.
