I wasn't ripping on the guy. In fact I feel very sorry for him. I stated we move our equipment to another farm at night when we are working in the bottoms. Maybe I should have stated that fear of flooding isn't the only factor we don't leave equipment in the bottoms at night though it's one of them. The other reason is vandalism. Our bottoms are located along a lightly traveled highway and the entrance down to the field is also the road to a public landing spot so can not be gated shut. Boaters don't use it but the spot is very popular if the high school kids as a parting spot & other after dark activities
