| I'm going to guess that that age of a NH baler doesn't have much wider of a pickup than what you see in the picture - less than another foot, I'd bet.
Running it like that probably makes it easier for the operator - if you can keep the front tire against the windrow on a straight, it's going to feed. Looks to me like he's got the whole operation lined up to work like that.
I'd sure like being able to look at the front right tire better than staying turned around all day.
I may be out of it, but that's the first time I've seen a wagon like that. Interesting design. Lots of hayliners (NH stackwagons) here and people are starting to put their hay in their machine sheds with them so that nobody has to touch them until it's time to load a truck.
