Since the tractor is guidance-ready, you have two choices: complete it with a Pro 600, 252, and CNH nav controller (making it a complete AccuGuide tractor), or complete it with a Trimble display (Field Manager or one of the EZ-Guide lightbars) and a Trimble nav controller, making it into what is called a hybrid unit.

You're right that you cannot use your EZ-Guide Plus as a guidance receiver for your Pro 600, but you CAN use the EZG+ as a mapping receiver with the Pro 600. So you could run EZ-Steer and send NMEA GPS data to the Pro 600 for as-applied mapping or prescription planting.

The integrated steering is theoretically "better" than the EZ-Steer (faster response, better accuracy, etc.), but you might not need the integrated system. EZ-Steer works great for lots of operators.
