Subject: Piecing together a guidance system

West Central IL
I'm trading for a Magnum 275 that is guidance ready but the previous owner is keeping the receiver and nav controller for his new tractor.I have a EZ guide plus and EZ Steer now that I could just switch over. The kicker is that my black and white monitor for my 1200 planter died this spring and I ended up upgrading to a Pro 600 and would like to use it for guidance too and not just for the planter in the spring since it was kind of pricey.I don't think I can use my receiver for the new tractor with the Pro 600 and I want to keep all the EZ Steer stuff for my JD combine to cut beans with,I used it last fall and loved it.I was quoted a price for a new nav controller and receiver to go with the Pro 600 for around $8800.Anybody here have any suggestions on how to make this work or should I just bite the bullet and go with it?Is the integrated steering that much better than the EZ Steer mounted on the steering wheel that it's worth that much money or should I just stay with the EZ Steer?
