You may want to try removing the LH swirl to open a greater orifice through the unit. Also try to create a more rear tilt to the unit and add downpressure so that the gauge wheels are being aggresively driven by the ground. In general a shallow setting with higher downpressure and a very aggressive row clean setting may be the best. I'm thinking second hole from the bottom, 40-45 psi, and the row cleaners actually moving a bit of soil.
