Macon, IL | My experience with 28% over the top was similar to yous. Last year I used AMS (Ammonium Sulfate) applied in the winter when the ground is frozen-if that is available in your area. However year after year I think it can be even harder on PH than Anhydrous.
I also tried to sidedress 28% with an applicator but that wasn't a whole lot easier than dragging anhydrous bar through standing stalks in the fall-11 row applicator with my squirrelly driving with 6 row planter was main issue. If your units line up or you drive better than me that may work well.
You can make them all work. Long term the only viable option I am seeing for me is fall stripping it on with strip till bar. | |
