Ashburn, GA, (very close to Heaven!) | First, I'd find the seed corn company agronomist that knows the hybrid, and its fit in your area and production type situation, and be sure you talk to the agronomist, not the salesman! These seed company agronomists are some of the best, generally speaking, at analyzing the whole picture of things. They have to deal with EVERYTHING, not just fertility, not just insects or disease, like some other company agronomists do.
Second, I must say that I like the idea of replanting, depending on what the agronomist says. From what you describe of the field, it's not one that is very forgiving at all. You better follow the advice of using a RR or LL variety so you can kill the present crop, otherwise you will have a problem.
