Subject: Re: NH3 and planting?

We put our N on in the spring, sometimes aqua ammonia, sometime anhydrous. We put it on straight with the rows. We work the ground one pass with the field cultivator and plant. I have planted the day after application half a dozen times and have not had a problem. We do try to apply it deep, usually around 8 inches. We have a heavy soil, not sand.
