I think we are actually running closer to 18-20 gal/acre. Another plus with a transfere pump is that you can run the planter tanks down to half and then start transfering to them to keep some weight off of the planter if you don't really need it. We run an electric flow control on the switch in the tractor so we can actually match the flow going out to keep a constant level in the planter tanks. Are you in Kansas, you might not be too far from me if you want to look at it.
