Subject: RE: Transfering fertilizer from tractor tank to planter

South of the Wind Farm, North of the oil fields
We run from saddle tanks on the tractor to the planter with a hi-flow electric pump. Depending how much volume you need, we run a 6 row putting down around 13 to 15 gals/acre and it works fine. It's tied to an electric switch in the cab so we can turn the pump off if it fills the planter tanks to fast. We put fittings toward the top on the side of the planter tank to fill them so there is no back feed of fertilizer in the hoses. If you have any questions call me in the evening at 785-658-3434.
