Subject: spiked closing wheels .... some install ?s pic

North Central MO
Putting double 13's and chains on. I know there has been an abundance of talk on these wheels (did the search), but very few comments on specific mounting preference.

Is the suggested clearance of 2 1/2 " between closest points the very best all round starting point?

What about stagger, I would tend to think directly opposite one another would be the ideal ........... but ............ running them stagger would tend to give me a little more clearance in spots on this twin row. Anyone actually have experience with both positions to compare?

And ......... if I mount opposed (not staggered), what's the best position, front holes or rear?

Nearly all no till here, some pretty heavy gumbo as well as lighter hills.
