Michigan | Treating will not bring germ up on seed unless it is a disease issue and then it usually only stops it from getting worse. The seed germ issue this year is due to mechanical damage type issues and treating just increases this problem - due to increased handling.
Be very careful on how you handle seed this year - you should be every year - but this year especially. If you are dumping minibulks or boxes keep them as close to the planter or seed tender as possible and slowy raise them to completely empty them. Don't toss bags around.
