Subject: Maybe unintended consequences of no till farming?

Little River, TX
From time to time I have been blessed by crop residue float trash.

Not as bad as you have though but then much of or most of our ground is plowed with a tandem disk at least one time.

It can take a number of years of plowing and replowing to obliterate a collection of float trash.

To keep the stuff out of fields a filter strip of eastern gamagrass or other permanent bunch grass might work, for you.

What really frost my donkey is when the float trash blocks culverts. Not just little 24" culverts but 4 ft and larger ones.
