Berrien County Michigan | We were spoiled 2003-2006, we were in fields last week of march first week of april, started planting 3rd week in april but everyone one of those years except 1 may was cold and wet and that resulted in replants. Last year didn't turn a wheel until the 20th of April and didn't start planting until May and had a record crop, so maybe we're better off waiting. We haven't had measureable precip in two weeks and ground is drying out but still a few weeks off. Anymore a good week and alot of dirt can be covered with machinery these days. | |
