West Texas | I stopped worrying about 'being behind' a long time ago. Things don't get done any timelier (is that a word?) but at least I sleep better. Every year is different, and this year is no exception. Last year at this time, I was nearly done with my spraying. This year, I haven't even started! It's been so dry and windy, even the weeds are hunkering down. My plans change day to day, week to week, but despite it all, things still seem to get done.
Do whatever the weather allows you to do, but don't let man-made 'deadlines' or cabin fever stampede you into premature action. Distract yourself by getting involved with family, hobbies, or community. You will do yourself no good by rushing out and sinking your equipment to the axles. | |
