Subject: Couple of points.

First, I agree GRAIN farmers have a little more money in their pocket. So some may be spending it too fast.

I think a second thing should be considered. The cost of new machines is making people take a look at used equipment with a dfferent perspective than in the past. The tide raises all boats.

Let's see, planter tractor at 150K new or 40K used plus a few repairs? We are not seeing enough hours on tractors here as notill has taken over. Most lease terms use to state 600hr years. Now, Wells Fargo is down to a 300hr lease with a 150hr lease in the planning stages. I know things are different in other areas.

Cattle farmer here are just trying to figure out how to pay these "corn" prices on fertilizer. ):
