Oops! I stand corrected! Just looked at the Cargill Ohio bidsheet, and they now only list basis bids past April '08. You can't say that they are not bidding on any new crop, though...they still offer basis only bids out thru Jan '10 corn and Oct '09 beans for most locations in SW Ohio.
Have you tried forward contracting grain lately?
