Subject: Re: Blending E85 and Reg. Gas

Aberdeen MS
I just started running an approximate 30% blend on my 98 S 10 with the 2.2. I wait till I'm down to around 1/8 tank then pump in 5 gal of E 85 then 9 or 10 gals of E 10. The gallonage varies a little bit but I'm not attempting to get an "exact" 30% blend.

So far I'm on my third tank and haven't done any figuring as to what the difference is. It does take a bit for the computer to readjust to get what actually is happening "truthfully" I do believe. A one time tankful gives erroneous comparisons I'm told.

No driveability problems yet with temps between -8 and 35 above. I'll do a comparison check from last falls running around with E-10 and this springs blend somewhere around the end of April.
