South cental Ohio | Finally, somebody hit the nail on the head. I was one of the first to put floor heat in a long time ago. It is exactly what you say, set the heat where you want it and leave it. I turn mine on when it starts getting cold about the end of October and turn it off when it warms up about the end of March. It stays about 55 and if I want it warmer I kick the space heater on for a few minutes and it's toasty in no time. I do like the idea with the brass pole but my friends wives don't care for their husbands visiting my shop now because I'm a bachelor and have a girly calendar on the wall in my shop. | |
