West Union, Illinois | pat - seem like if the temp is warmer that about 55-60 its too hot to work in; however at the end of the day when you want a cool one or two it gets pretty chilly. It sounds to me like you are trying to change the temperature too much. All the floor heat I have been around you set the temperature for what is comfortable and leave it alone ... NEVER touch the thermostat until end of season. The thermal mass you have to heat/cool is so great that you can't make fast changes. Set it for 50-60, whatever makes it comfortable, and leave it alone. We were just talking with a mechanic yesterday who has floor heat in his shop. He sets the thermostat on 55 and the floor stays warm, it is comfortable to work in, he's just tickled pink. |
