Approximately, yes. You are surprised by that?

You don't know me from Adam, but you'll have to trust me on that. We manufacture both types of products and the "Conklin" type products (we make the same type for the T&O industry) are about twice as much on an actual "per pound" basis. We do not sell it to the Ag side because there isn't a need.

The T&O guys like the higher grade stuff because it doesn't have any chlorides, is less likley to salt out, it's pretty, and it doesn't clog emitters in drip tape. Those features come at a cost. I never said it was bad stuff. It's really good stuff, but you simply don't need it to grow corn and soy. You can do just fine blending UAN, POLY, and KCL for a lot less money per acre with the same result on a similar per pound of plant food per acre basis.
