^^^^What he said. The AgVise probes are a good setup. I have had a few problems with bending the probe itself (the part that goes in the ground). And they do lack power when pulling up. In fact, I have a probe stuck 20" in the ground right now, waiting for the thaw.

Good thing I use GPS.
