Not true at all. 

The reason this conference was started was due to efficiencies of combining resources.  It used to be that the Corn and Soybeans had their own conference, and the Forage group had thier own conference, and the No-Till organization started up and wanted their own conference.  Last year the Corn and Soybean organizations joined up with the No-Till group and had a joint conference, but the Forage group still had their own.  Someone wised up and decided that it would be a good idea to combine resources, get people to come to one conference, pool resources and increase the visibility of the event.  THAT is the reason for this year's event being planned the way it is.
