I rented a neighbors farm for several years. It came up for sale and I said no thanks.
Now do you just farm it and forget fertilizer etc. or do you do like you normally do? I fertilized it like the land had been treated before I got it. The new owner is now a friend. I shared all I had done to the land including soil tests, fertilizer records etc. The new owner appreciated honesty and integrity. As others have said what goes around comes around.
Work with the new operator and try and help him out. Can almost guarantee it will be to your benefit. | |
