Subject: Re: Shop Work Benches

I got good intentions. Often I proclaim a bench cleaning day. In variably I become overwhelmed and suspend the task. What do I do with all that stuff with no assigned place for it. Discard it? Are you nuts. That 4 year old used solenoid just may have the right size nut I need in the future. I can't be throwing away valuable stuff.

Plus, my shop is the overflow toward which everything gravitates. If my office is full and the garage full, then the stuff gravites to my workbench. I think the only way a guy can have space of his own is put the room on top of a silo. I think a man ought to have a farm auction every two years just to get the workbench clean.
