I don't know if they used the same engine in them all, but I just crawled out of one I pulled into the shop and it wouldn't start until I saw the glow plug light in the guage cluster. Gave it about 30 seconds, light went out and she fired right up. If there is starting fluid in the cab maybe the glow plugs don't work or it has a different setup.
