Somewhere in North central Iowa | I noticed tonight after hearing a 'sound' and then jacking and spinning by hand that I have a left front wheel bearing going out. Truck is a Ford F250 Super Duty. 2001 extended cab. I need to fix this problem this weekend as I need the truck monday. Can anyone here tell me how to replace the bearings? The truck has the elec. switch inside and a manual switch from 'lock' to 'free' on the wheel.
Any special tools?
