Just thought of something else.

The ujoint on the outside of my front axle went out on mine...thats what caused my bearing to go out I believe. The whole axle just slides out of the pumpkin after the bearing hub assembly is removed. I would highly recommend replacing the ujoint while you have it apart. It has those plastic rings that hold the ujoint caps in. Use a torch to melt them out then the new ujoint goes right in.
