Subject: NH is/was expecting this problem

Little River, TX
with the NH 1003. Their fix is a little piece of strap iron bolted to the second table about mid point for the first and the last bales.

For maybe 15 years now I have had 2 pieces of strap iron bolted to the forward face of the second table. Used a carriage bolts to bolt them on. Then when things are smooth I can tap the strap down, and when things are a little odd I tap the straps higher to catch or retard the bales from falling forward.

My second table had a hole right where the strap needed to go. If you can look in a parts book and make your own $0.05 part that will cost $5.00 if ordered.
