Virginia | Lucky, Hum let me see---How about very little traffic, no light pollution, very little noise pollution, wide open spaces---I'm really happy farming where I am--good soil, good yields, good markets, lots of support from neighbors, farm suppliers, etc. However, it's very quickly changing i.e. 3 new schools being built w/in 7 miles of us. Houses are gobbling up farmland at an alarming rate.
It was just really nice seeing some country not covered with houses, cars, shopping malls, asphalt, etc. We're hoping to maybe see the Dakotas this summer. I hear the Badlands are especially beautiful. | |
