Subject: RE: Strange spot in soybean field

My guess if you are situated in Eastern or Central Ontario is Phytophthora root rot. The soils have been very wet this past month and now when the soil is beginning to dry the disease will start to show more. Hard to tell from pictures but if there is a reddish discoloration extending from the roots to the lower nodes on wilted plant then that is the answer. What variety is that? They are more advanced then most in Eastern Ontario.
