Steve,

My vet has me mixing Polyflex(ampicilan) with my iron. It is mixed one bottle of Polyflex to 8 bottles of 100mg iron. Works out to about 6.25 mg of Polyflex per pig. When I castrate a week later I give .2cc Excede to every pig and then another.2cc Excede at weaning to cover the strep in nursery/finisher. Have to give iron shake evvery so often because the Polyflex will settle out. Your vet may want you to have a different protocol based on your specific pathogen load.
