NC Kansas | thats good news. big change here today as going to be 40 deg. colder and windy. fall calvers here. so somtimes a bull might come around early from neighbors herd after he is done with his cows. doesn't happen often but come end of july to 1st Aug we kind of keep an eye out for any ealy calves. not near the stress on them as you have now with your cold weather. the most trouble we have is some vets arms. bought some heifers from Ok been pregg had a sheet that showed approx calving date, he missed some of them by 4 months. came early. got a good vet here and very accurate. good luck | |
