Funny how you can dang near be right there and still have trouble but have no clue and everything goes just fine.

A couple of years ago my neighbors practically live in their pasture during calving season.  I think they lost about 30-40% of their calf crop that year, just terrible luck.  Dad had his cows across the fence and he checked them once a day at best and only lost two calves, both of those were to scours at 10 days old or so.
