| DTN is a joke. We got hit by lightning ans it fried the terminal. Since we told them the "truth", they billed us 1000 bucks for a new terminal and told us to turn it into our insurance company. Neighbors got fried, he said "it just quit working" and they replaced his for free. We got the "new" used terminal and the hard drive crashed....nobody would answer. Finally got it reformatted and working and it crashed again with a red screen. Called again...they had us reformat and it took 3 days for it to download and work again. Then it started just dropping info right and left.
We got fed up and just bought a computer and hooked it to DSL and that is a hell of a lot better. We got a call from DTN asking us where the payment was. We said that we had decided not to use the service anymore and would send the equipment back. They told us since we had not notified them before our "contract aniversary" that we were obligated for another 12 months at 840.00, wether we were using it or not. If we didn't pay, we'd be turned over to collection.
My lawyer is handling it now. Nice company. | |
