| Ok...to answer a few questions...First of all...technically yes if the planter is ISO compatible, it can run the disconnects on the planters. Basically you hook up a GS2 rate controller to the factory disconnects or use TruCount's to do up to 12 sections. As far as the single screen and everything, the winter software bundle will bring you up to GS2 software version 2.0 or higher that will allow you to have up to 5 configurable home pages, not just 5 sections on one page. You just hit the home key again and it rolls to your other selected page. That will allow you to have for example on page 1 - planter at a glance - page 2 - Guidance - Page 3 - rate controller for clutches. It's pretty easy to do. Plus the third page really isn't important after you start running becuase your planter at a glance will let you know whether you are or aren't planting on particular rows. If swatch control isn't working, you won't see those rows stop planting. | |
